Our Mission
India Atlas was created to provide a simple, beautiful, and informative way to explore the vast administrative landscape of India. Our goal is to consolidate state and district-level information into a single interactive interface that can be used by students, researchers, and curious citizens.
The Technology
We built this application using the latest web technologies, including Next.js, Leaflet.js, and Tailwind CSS. By combining geographic data with real-time API integrations, we offer a dynamic experience that goes beyond a static map.
Open Data
We believe in the power of open data. Our map data is sourced from open-source GeoJSON projects, and our factual information is enriched via the Wikimedia API. We are committed to keeping this platform accessible and up-to-date.
